It's no secret that when I fall for something, I fall hard. Lately, that's been Kradam. However...I just can't see choosing an LJ name that's Kradam-y. Yet, I have seen numerous variations on Kradam in usernames. Some of them are quite clever, really. But still, weird...

Please keep in mind that this is from somebody who has a fandomy name, even though it doesn't feel fandomy any more.

Also, I would love to thank everyone for the hugs. Srsly, I have one of the most awesome flists ever. Tru fax.

OMG!! I JUST RECEIVED "AN EVENING WITH JOHN BARROWMAN" IN THE MAIL! I was so not expecting it soon, as it shipped on the 16th...from England. It's currently the 18th. Wow!

I cannot wait to watch it!!!! *bounces*

I'm watching it and falling in love all over again. God, he has such a great voice and stunning charisma. ♥ And his shiny suits and glitz is just so...him

OMG! There was a total Dr. Who reference on tonight's NCIS. Both Mum and I squeed like the little fangirls we are. Dad, of course, had no idea what a TARDIS was. I love when fandoms collide.

In other news, I am so in love w/ Kradam it hurts! I can't stop watching this youtube vid w/ gratuitous Kradam snuggling and hugging. So damn cute!!!

Oh god, I am in so deep w/ Kradam and their epic bromance. When I went to tell Mum g-ma had called, I said, "Hey, Mum! Gradam called." *headesk*

Not that it takes much.

Anyway, I'm reading through this person's crazy, fucked-up AI Kradam fic (that's actually quite good considering the AI team are evading zombies) and the author has the team inside a stationery shop. And she spelled it correctly!!! That never happens. I am so pleased. :)

Good episode. Although it could have done w/ some Kevin/Scotty smoochin'. Of course I think this of every episode. ;) Justin needs to stop being such an ass, though. Srsly.

Does anyone else watch this or am I alone in my love?

'Tis a new day so technically I'm not spamming, however this is important! I have a brand new journal banner/colors! It was made by [info]katekat1010, who is exceedingly awesomesauce, and is Kevin/Scotty from Brothers & Sisters. It's GORGEOUS and fallish and brilltastic. Go, check it out!

Sometimes fans scare me, they truly do. Here's a link to an article of one of the nastiest fan-made "creations" I've ever seen. It's a felt model of Bella's (from "Twilight") womb. Gross, non?

Miss Kate has gotten me giddy over Kradam. Yes, that's American Idol's Kris and Adam. *headesk* Next thing you know, I'll be reading the fanfic. What can I say, the glitter has eaten my brain.

Bad Kate! (but I love you anyway)

But lately, whenever I go to the bathroom, Oliver decides it's THE perfect time to hop on my lap and get cuddles. When I go to put him down, he clings to me with all his might, which is quite considerable. I guess this means I'm going to have to start shutting the door.

Speaking of the little stinker, I sat up, and he hurried up and scooted behind my back so I cannot lay back down. :(

In other news, I have a pimple the size of Kentucky (urr..does that even make sense?) on the tip of my nose and it HURTS.

Also, Mia just joined us on the bed and the two of them are circling each other. I'm taking bets on who pounces first. ;)

Dad heard a strange noise above him and came to get me to check it out...sure enough, Oliver was AGAIN in the rafters. This time he was over the laundry room. AND I snapped a photo of him. He did NOT want to be carried down, though. Talk about a struggle. Neither Dad nor I know from where he got up, so he'll probably do it again. *rolls eyes*

Here he is, looking all innocent )

Ugh, now I must go wash off the dust bunnies. *shudder*

My gyno is out of the office this week. *headesk* I put in a call w/ my regular doctor, though. No clue what she can do, however.

Oliver is all over me. He can be such a sweetie, yet he spent the entire morning terrorizing poor Mia. :(

Why, oh why, must you be on at 9pm? Do you not know this is past my bedtime? It's why I had to stop watching "Good Eats." My body just is not willing to watch TV past that point in time. I'm usually so ensconced in my computer by that time, watching telly is just arduous. Also, too much drama that late is bad for my digestion.

It seems like that's all I've been doing lately. However, YIM still isn't loading for me. Should I remove it and d/l a new version? Any thoughts appreciated.

I was checking my gmail and saw this ad at the top of the screen: $87/Hr Job - 921 Openings - [deleted website] - No Scam. Realistic $87 Per Hour. No Schedule. Nice Pay.

It really builds the confidence that they have to tell me it isn't a scam. Srsly.

NOW!!!! Holy. Fucking. God. *gah* I just finished watching Girl Number 9 written by James Moran and starring Gareth David-Lloyd. Talk about a blood-pumping, edge of your seat, nail biting ride! I so did not expect it to go the way it did. But. *shudder* Very, very good. I recommend watching it. I don't know for how long it'll be up, so watch it soon. The whole thing is about 20 minutes (if that), so it doesn't take much time, and is so worth it. Especially if you love thrillers. Because it is. Very thrilling. It is kinda gruesome, though. Just a heads up.

I also had to turn off the HD because it wouldn't play for me very well w/ the HD on, which is the default.

We were at the store and Mum saw an item whose name reminded her of me. Expecting to see something like, "sweet and adorable," imagine my shock when she was pointing to the "Krabby Patties." :P Gee, mum, thanks. *rolls eyes*

In other news, I still hurt from the IUD. If it hurts tomorrow, I'm calling the doctor. It's not a huge hurt, mind you, but it's still there.

Hi! Someone made me an awesome graphic for neopets. This one, to be specific:

The only problem is that in order to embed in neopets, the image has to end in a .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, what have you. The only image hosting I have in LJ, which doesn't end in any of these. Would some kind soul please host the graphic for me so I can use it on my Snowy's (the neopet in the picture) pet page?

Thank you!

~e!

Edit: Problem solved (thanks, Kate!), but I'm leaving up the pic because it's so darn cute!

I read the entire book. A fun, easy read, just like the first book. I didn't even bawl when I got to the section on his dogs (including the ones he and Scott had lost). I misted-up, yes, but no actual crying.

I must, however, conclude with the fact that, while I love John Barrrowman, he and his entire family are insane (although, honestly? that's part of what I love about him [and them!]). Insane I tell you! But a lot of fun to read about.

Anyway, I am sick and have a headache the size of Alaska, but can't stop reading I Am What I Am. Anyway, back when I visited L.A., many years ago, [info]katekat1010 said something about West Hollywood being a great place to find breakfast (it's true, we had some great breakfasts while there). Cue to now, on my sofa, I'm reading and John Barrowman says the same thing. It must be official!

I am so loving this book. I only wish I didn't have the headache accompaniment.

Probably only Shannon will understand this, but maybe others have read his book? The Easter Cat story is romantic. And I love the story of Miss Gill, lol.

Mummy left me today. :( She won't be back 'til Sunday and I'm missing her already. *pout* She's off to further her education and spend time w/ her nephew and his family, so that'll be nice for her. :)

Today was fairly uneventful, except I lost most of a beta on which I was working, and that completely bummed me out. I may have, possibly, cried.

Had dinner w/ my uncle, which was fun. I don't see him nearly enough. :D

I love Scotty so much, but I'm terrified they're going to write him out. :'( This isn't a spoiler or anything, it's just the nature of Bros & Hos: no ship is safe, sadly.

Also, is it just me or are Mac commercials getting even more petty?

I? Do not feel well. I have an awful headache and feel nauseous. Picked up Mia from vet's. She doing really well, though Oliver keeps bugging her. We're NOT giving her injections, as they really hurt her and there's this injection that you only give once a week. The vet will order it and have it on hand Monday. 'Til then, she's on long-acting penicillin, so no more shots 'til Monday. Hooray!

I'm going to take this time to recommend a fabulous product: Via instant coffee by Starbucks. It's amazing. Definitely the best instant coffee ever! So delish.

Shannon, I hope to have your beta back by tomorrow. I keep looking at it, but my head is swimming and making no sense to me. I am very sorry.

Mia is out of surgery. She had nine teeth removed and seemed to be waking up okay. We're going to have to rub some goo on her gums, as there are places where they've receded to the bone. :(

The worst part, however, is that we have to go in tomorrow to pick her up and? Learn how to give her shots, as she refuses to take antibiotics orally. I am not looking forward to injecting my little baby w/ meds. :( I think I'll make Mum and Dad do it. ;)

Mia has to go into the vet's tomorrow early so that she can have most of her teeth removed. :( The stomatitis hasn't gotten any better, and the gums have receded so much, her roots are showing. So, yeah, poor kitty.

She currently is on some major drugs (fentanyl! YAY!), as it apparently takes them about 24 hours to kick in fully. It's a transdermal patch on her foot, so she has an orange bandage on her hind paw. Talk about Halloween Kitty!

Anyway, all good thoughts are appreciated. :)

Am watching the Life of Brian. *loves it so much* IFC is showing it right now. This is, possibly, my favorite Monty Pyton movie...well...maybe. I like them all so much.

Time to play a game of "Where's Waldo Oliver?"

After a long, hard day rappelling from the rafters (and humping Mia), even the bravest of kitties need their rest, but where he?

Never mind the fact that it's nearly 2pm and my bed's unmade. *blush*

Anyway, Dad and I were downstairs in the basement watching TV when this scratching noise starts from above us. I knew it was Oliver, and I was pretty sure it sounded like it was coming from in between the floors, but I had no idea how he could be between the floors. I told Dad this and he poo-pooed me; there was no way he could make it up there.

So, we check out the entire house, no Oliver. Finally, I go to where the litter box is, in the basement, underneath the stairs. I look up, sure enough, there, in the gap between the floors, 8 feet up, is Oliver. He used the boxes piled high as stepping stones to get up there. Only thing is? He wasn't quite so certain in his ability to get down. However, with a ladder and a little coaxing, we were able to get him down. Then, we moved around boxes so, with a little luck, he won't be able to get up there anymore. I'm just happy he didn't fall through the ceiling tiles or get electrocuted or something horrible.

Needless to say, he's a damn smart cat. And I wish I'd taken pictures. *cue Pansy Division song*

Just finished reading one of my favoritest fics ever, Act of Nature and it sequels by [info]janedavitt and [info]wesleysgirl. Good news? They've added a book to the story since I last read it, which was so nice to read. ♥

Am now reading Sick of Shadows by the two of them. It's always nice to reread great fics. While I remembered them being good, they are so much better than even the good memories I had of them.

So, thank you [info]janedavitt and [info]wesleysgirl for the fabulous fic that has given me several hours of enjoyment. :)

Speaking of songs I hate to love...

Today was a lazy day, but i did watch both NCISes. I'm actually enjoying NCIS:LA. It's not bad. I was expecting something horrible, but I like the banter between to the two leads. And I'm a little bit in love w/ Kensi.

I am currently sleeping w/ little mister Casanova. He will not stop trying to hump poor Mia, so we've been keeping them as separate as possible. :( He's such a sweetie in all other ways, though. He just can't help being a boy.
